Beverage policy is a bit confusing. Shower was not draining properly and they were not able to fix it even after reporting it. There is not much space to unpack clothes

Game drives included, lots of staff and all were very helpful. Room had aircon and a ceiling fan. There is also a mini fridge

Location, spacious tents, very clean, excellent service, game drives were amazing, food was excellent. This was our favourite place we stayed in Africa. The staff were amazing and made you feel like family. Our Safari guide Peu was so knowledgeable and a great guide. We hope to be back someday.

Safari Plains is 11 out of 10. Exceptional in every single sense. Amazing tent, amazing staff who are friendly and cordial and make you welcome. Stunning views, amazing environment and facilities. Super exciting game drives.

The property is beautifully maintained with luxury tents adjoining a large full bathroom. The main lodge is beautifully designed in soft neutrals accompanied by the large windows showcasing the beautiful landscape.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay special, including accommodating a late departure for the evening drive as we could only arrive at the lodge around 16h30. Everyone was very friendly and kind.

The meals provided were good. Just the food was always a bit cold. The rooms were lovely and the bathroom superb. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our second visit to Safari Plains and once again exceeded our expectations. Quality of service from all staff and food excellent. Great game drives and Ben our ranger was very well informed and it is obvious he is very passionate and cares that his guests have an enjoyable experience.

The property is ideally situated at a 2 hour drive away from Johannesburg. Staff went out of their way to assist with wheel-chair bound mother. The room was spacious and the outside lounging area a great touch. Food was amazing and the boma dinner added a great African feel.

It would have been great if the pool was warm. Being tents, they are not well insulated so on colder/ windy evenings, you feel the draft in the room. Electricity went off on one evening, but was promptly sorted by staff - however this lead to the geyser not working, so there was no hot water that evening/ the next morning.

Lovely midweek getaway. The food was fantastic with great variety. We enjoyed the game drives and our guide Ethan was friendly and well informed. The staff in general always went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant

Only complaint: Outside area at the pool & deck was not cleaned. Tables was very dirty outside and the pool also.
