The bedrooms aren't particularly private due to the layout.

This was a well equipped, clean and secure place to stay on a stopover to break up a long journey.I would have liked to spend longer in Graaff Reinet as there's much to see. Excellent communication from the host Stan was much appreciated.

From the host to the accommodation. I felt right at home, welcomed with a smile at around 10pm and given a quick tour. The place is beautiful and you can feel it was prepared with love. The host even went as far as checking up on whether I arrived safely to my destination later after I left. I truly appreciated it and wish I could pay more for all their effort in an accomodation that needed no introduction or extra care...

Welcoming reception by owner. Spacious, much larger than expected, room space. Electric blankets. Delicious coffee. Safe and secure parking. Beautful view of garden and Spandaukop.

Nothing, everything was super

Warm and friendly welcome, great communication. Wonderful little extras like ground coffee, fresh milk and rusks. The rooms were comfortable and the beds divine. We were only here for one night but wished we could stay longer. Thank you for having us.

A cleaning fee was sneaked in on the last moment of completing the order. If this was upfront, I would have picked another facility. Cracked handbasin in the bathroom poses both a physical and hygiene hazard. The jacuzzi in the middle of the room is an unnecessary feature. The ground coffee was ground too fine for french press and tasted not freshly ground at all. Sometimes, a place is way more than the photos advertise. In this case it was not. TV has very poor inbuilt speaker.

Friendly reception, helpful service. Nice swimming pool and fenced in area for our dog. Ground coffee and french press a nice extra. Air fryer was appreciated. Braai stocked with wood. Plenty of channels on the TV

The unused hot tub could be covered in to make use of the space!

Centrally situated. The apartment is spacious and the bathroom and kitchen are modern. There is a nice grassed area around the pool. The second bedroom is a useful addition. The host Stan is very welcoming!

Nothing really, the whole municipality was without electricity that day but that was not Stan's fault. In fact he has a substantial solar system with robust battery backup which meant we could use anything in the unit except the A/C that day and as we were out most of the day and it wasn't that hot, we didn't even notice.

The location was great for us. We chilled out the first afternoon on a private patio overlooking a delightful garden. Our favorite coffee/lunch shop was only a block or so away. It was also convenient for the activities we had planned for both days. Would definitely stay again.

The driveway is very narrow. I doubt if a large SUV will be able to fit. You then have to park on the street. My Kia Sportage just made it.

The biscuits for your morning coffee was a nice touch.

Our room was well equipped with everything you needed. You could see the host had a put a lot of effort into making it a great stay for guests. The bed was very comfortable and the size of the room was great. Security was exceptional with off street parking. The shower pressure was also great.

The big space, very clean, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchenette, large garden space for dog. Outside deck with table and chairs, braai area. Safe parking for car.

Completely spotless, with great amenities (even an airfryer). Really comfortable and very helpful and friendly hosts :). You have access to the pool and the braai as well, there's really nothing negative. Definitely recommend!
