Annex is so cozy and has also the amenities for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. The fireplace keeps you warm on those chilly nights and the views of the mountains and the Mushroom are simply amazing. Liezel and Peter are fantastic hosts and attended to our every need. Will definitely come back again

The cows on the farm add to the ambience but they also attract lots of flies that are an annoyance especially when having meals. Its obviously virtually impossible to control for flies on a farm.

Serene and tranquil environment. Perfect location to rejuvenate and refresh the heart and mind. Great hiking trails. Just on the outskirts of the town of Clarence.

I felt with 10 people a dishwasher would have been appreciated. Also bigger size fridge and freezer.

We had a wonderful time walking and exploring the fauna and flora of the area. There was adequate space and most facilities.

We were a little disappointed not to have great views, but other seating in the gardens afforded us views of Mushroom Rock and the sandstone cliffs and formations.

I do not think that anything can be better, but if I have to nit pick, I would say that a small oven would be nice. But it isn't necessary as I'm sure many people prefer to go eat in Clarens. We liked to stay at our place and enjoy the time there more than sitting at a restaurant in a busy town.

It was a beautiful farm with a cottage facing the main road. The room was big enough to fit 2 people comfortably. I liked that the kitchen was equiped with everything we needed, however take note that there is no oven. This was OK as they assisted us in cooking our pizza in their oven in the venue's kitchen. The towels are super soft and the room gets nice and hot when you put the fire place on during winter. We stayed there during the end of June. It was also lovely that our room was cleaned every day (during the week) and the fireplace was cleaned and packed with fresh wood to burn when the sun set.

There was nothing that we did not like

We loved our stay at St Fort. It was very relaxing staying on the farm, it was very peaceful and quiet and the walks on the farm were lovely. My partner is fond of sleeping in, where I am an early bird so I felt very safe going for walks/runs on my own in the morning. There is a lovely fireplace and the rooms all have electric blankets and heaters, so even though it was very cold when we visited, we felt very cosy and warm. It was also close enough to town that you could drive in for anything you needed.
