Not much to not like. I suppose if I had to state one thing it would be the Thai tom yum soup, which is more of a preference.

The villa was absolutely perfect for my wife and I- comfortable king size bed, shower and bath tub with bath salts available for our needs, cozy lounge area with DSTV and strong wifi, and the amazing private pool. The restaurant was amazing, preparing Asian cuisine by country every evening.

What an utterly glorious experience of luxury and decadence. This hotel is right off the scale and a 10+ in every respect. I would very highly recommend it. The accommodation itself was absolutely awesome and the food served at breakfast and in the evenings was first class.

The property was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I fell ill during my stay, and they went above and beyond—helping me find a nearby doctor, offering advice, and even arranging a simple dinner based on my request. Their attention to small details truly made my experience a positive one. Huge thanks to Peter from the Zarafa and Lindo, our wonderful safari tour guide. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without their support. Kudos to the whole team!

This place was amazing! I felt like a rock star walking in and taking in just how beautiful it was. I've stayed in some beautiful places over the years but this blew most of them out of the game. The service was delightful, the food incredible and setting outstanding. When you see photos on a website you know they're the best of the best of what's available. Well I felt like I'd walked into the photo.

This place is unreal—honestly hard to put into words. The rooms are super spacious and have everything you need, the pool is amazing, and the views are next-level. That we couldn't stay longer.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Zarafa in Hazyview for two nights, and I could have easily extended my stay for a week if time permitted. The experience was flawless, with exceptional attention to detail that truly set it apart. The villa was absolutely stunning, offering complete privacy to enjoy the pool, dine on the gazebo, and unwind in a serene setting with breathtaking views, all while being completely isolated from any noise or distractions. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a spacious his-and-her vanity, a bath stocked with an array of luxurious salts and gels, and a large, well-appointed shower. Dinner was a standout experience – a five-course meal that would satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. As a fine dining chef, I must say that every dish was executed to perfection. Barrie, the owner, went above and beyond to personally introduce himself to all the guests. He made sure everyone felt welcome and took extra care to accommodate any special requests. He even arranged an early breakfast pack and provided binoculars for our early game drive. If you have the opportunity to stay at Zarafa and choose not to, you’re truly missing out on an exceptional experience that goes far beyond just a place to stay. As an added bonus, we were lucky enough to spot the resident giraffe during our stay. Barrie shared that she sometimes drinks from the pool, although she didn’t do so while we were there.
