The only place to swim in the Ocean is so-called Rocky Pool - a chain of interconnected natural calm water “pools” formed by flat shore rocks - is about 15 minutes walk from the property and is the best at low tide... all other stretch of the shore is good rather for surfing than swimming...

African style most-wooden shales connected by wooden foot bridges with foot-floors around the restaurant, the bar, spar, reception etc... The wooden foot-floors and passways are over the natural flora and surfaces and all is mostly gently implanted into wild African sea-side wet forestry... Very lovely place! The road to the place is hard but passable even by NISSAN X-Trail - the last 6-7 km are sandy with sand-deep stretches on the way.

Room staff / supervisor hanging around for a tip, for just doing their job as you are leaving your room? Wifi in 100 mb tranches... Long way from main road. Didn't feel there was strong "leadership" at the lodge. Didn't think it was great value for money. Should have a better sea view being in the location that it is. Pedicure and manicure was a complete rip off at R500 each. Bling blue tablecloth overlays - yuk! Staff asking you too often if everything is ok during your meal.

Some of the food dishes were very good. Room was spacious but dark There was a spa.

For us poor locals the price could be better.

The food was great and the rooms comfortable. We had a room with a great sea view and a lovely private pool which we enjoyed. The staff was extra friendly and we had a wonderful time.

If the weather isn't good then there are limited things to do other than relax.

Amazing location, right on the beach in a tropical forest! Food is fabulous, staff are so friendly. We snorkelled, dived and relaxed. Was truly fabulous.

Everything. We absolutely loved everything. The beach, the accommodation, the people, the food, activities and all the little touches such as daily cake at 4PM... We stayed for 4 nights and we got a lot of rest out of it, it felt like staying for longer but we could still be there and we would sure still enjoy it. We will definitely come back and do it all over again. We are telling everybody about it... And if you like Nespresso, they have it.. and we could go on and on ...
