The only thing is that it seemed to have a vaguely neglected feeling. I had a feeling that it was no longer as much loved as it had been in previous years. But nevertheless, it was perfect for our needs.

The bedroom was perfect, beds had luxury linen and were comfortable. The property is a hunting lodge and used for family reunions and sleeps 10 people in 5 different chalets. There is a central entertainment area with a very comprehensively kitted out kitchen that guests can use. Whatever you need, you will find. There were two staff members who attended to the cleaning and garden. So it was a perfect stop-over for us on our travels.

It is HOT. The average temperatures were a good 10C higher than Gauteng, and we were underprepared and ran out of cold drinks a day before the end of our stay. The nearest grocery store is 90km away, but we found a local cafe which provided some relief that we were willing to settle for. It is also much further away from Gauteng than we initially thought, but that's mostly my fault for not checking properly. Lots of mosquitoes. There's commercial farming activities nearby, but you don't hear it.

If you're looking for a long-weekend break-away, this is great. It's deep in the bush. There's a big camp where you can do self-drive safaris (though there's cattle between the game), well kept pool, a games room in the loft area of the entertainment facility. Some interesting birds around the facilities (added some to the life-list). I got the impression it is an ideal venue for a family breakaway where parents, aunts, uncles, grandpa and grandma and all the cousins can come together for a big family reunion. However it is close to the border post and a couple other guests were merely overnight guests crossing the border.

This was our first Lodge on a five self drive of Botswana and Namibia. This lodge is absolutely outstanding, well equipped for self catering. Great little lodge that has lots of animals around it. The rooms were so lovely and traditionally made, with an inside and outside shower. It was perfect!!!

The Lodge is in a very quiet place in the nature far from the road. The place is ideal for relaxing after the noise of the cities. The cottages are built in african style, the all place is amazing.

Mosquito repellent was not the best or effective , I brought my own and it worked perfect

This place is a hidden gem. The lodge is well appointed, and the facilities were spotless. The large bathtub is a welcome touch.
