Breakfast provision was disorganised and slow. Big disappointment was when, having requested the desk order us a taxi, a car arrives which was not a registered taxi and the driver charged almost double the going rate for the short trip to the town (150 Rand -- all subsequent taxi journeys were 80 Rand) A 4 star hotel should not being placing guests in such a position

Grounds need a serious upgrade lights and paving etc needs to be cleaned - the grounds and buildings surrounds need a good tidy and upgrade

We struggled with our Netflix, eventually logged in, but didn't work. Then, we were unable to log out. However, no biggie. Just used our laptops.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Everybody was very accommodating and helpful. We were checking out very early in the morning, and the manager went above and beyond for us. I believe his name is daniel. The night before, we were made a breakfast pack for our trip. This included three different fruits, a granola, yogurt and fruit cup, 2 freshly made sandwiches as well as a fruit juice. We were very impressed and must say some of the reviews are a little harsh. The balconies overlook beautiful views, and the bathrooms included a shower and full bath tub. What a treat, we ended off each of our stays off with a lovely hot bath.

The staff members at reception handed a key to us to find our room no escorting. The reception closes at night so incase emergency there is help There is no service for a place that's called a hotel everything happens at the reception between 8-7 pm They open so late I was unable to get towels for the morning beach visit There is no transport you need to rent a car in order to enjoy your visit no Bolt no Uber and maxi taxis charge at face value They old TVs so it's hard to navigate the android box it's slow and nerve wrecking The cleaners give new shampoo or body wash after cleaning They don't change Towels, they dry them instead There's no whale watching you can barely see the ocean from the property There is no parking it's a hill and not safe, no carports so having a rental at your disposal is such a huge risk!!!

The location is quite central close enough to all excussions on our iternary and the chef catered to our needs and our waiter (male) he was such a delightful to interact with Theres a petrol station (she'll) with steers and Debonairs Car Rental right in the petrol station

Room 8 that we were in is staying in is starting to look a little tired and in need of a bit of a refurbishment and the magnifying mirror in the bathroom was missing.

Scheduled power outage was not informed, so we recommend you asking for the schedule upon arrival. Though it's advertised as hotel & spa, the spa is more of an outsourced service they provide in the hotel, so it would only work in local business hours (9 to 5). Bathroom was kind of dark (not strong light).

Good location and open space. Staff was very nice and polite. Breakfast was very good, though we were charged for our coffees.

The room was great, loved the bath and shower option. The TV was a bit of a struggle, Can only do steaming and we couldn't connect to Netflix, even with our own data. There was some technical issues with the TV with regards to connecting to our own Netflix. The breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the view from the restaurant. There is not Uber or Bolt, and we struggled to find a cab or taxi or shuttle service to drive us to town.

The food was terrible. At dinner on the first night we ordered spicey chicken livers which came as chicken livers with chopped tomato, peppers and onion. Our daughter's chicken strips were inedible and dry. At breakfast I was shocked to see one tub of butter which was left open and all guest used with one knife. I thought was highly unhygienic especially living in COVID times. Our room's shower door didn't close an the toilet seat was worn. We never got a replenishment of the shower gels and coffee station on day 2. It seems like the management is going overboard with trying to save costs.

》For an old couple, our room was too far from the parking lot and dining area; walking up and down the hill can be a challenge. Unfortunately for us, the continuous rains did not allow us to visit the beaches.

1. Breakfast was good but same menu for 3 days could be tidious. 2. The staff was excellent. Of particular note were NELSON and PINDI who went out of their way to make customers feel welcome and attended to.

Facilities were dated and dark, and looked tired. grounds were not swept, reception didn’t have credit card machine reader. There were also no information in the rooms in breakfast. also, very few of the room actually have a view of the bay since it’s obscured by trees. bed not the most comfortable. parking not really near most of the rooms. sad kids corner.

Great location off Garden Route. breakfast was good and there is an amazing view from the restaurant deck.
