Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not so much a question of not liking, but I thought the scruffy wooden doors to the accommodation were most odd. Had I not been taken to my room I would not have thought these were doors for guests to use - they seemed more like doors for maintenence workers to access this part of the hotel.

About a 400m walk from the front door of Kenneth Kaunda International airport. Very convenient. Nice hotel, nice lobby area, dinner and bar was very good value. Room comfortable and clean, staff very helpful. If you arrive late or are leaving early its a very nice airport hotel.

Small gripe, when we checked in, it wasn't made clear they would be holding the equivalent of around £650 on my credit card. It's fairly standard, so I wasn't too worried, but I was just surprised as it hadn't been mentioned and took almost 3 weeks to be 'unheld' on my account. Luck for me, I didn't need it! The gym was tiny and very hot. There were 4 of us in there and not really enough cardio machines, with a hotel that size I would've expected a little more.
This hotel is perfectly located if you have late inbound or early outbound flights from Lusaka, and we had both. It's within walking distance depending on how much luggage you have. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely. It was crystal clear and very refreshing.

WIFI needs a a bit of work in certain areas - signal very poor

The shower gel was almost finished and was not enough for my shower. I had to use my personal products. The bath flooded while having shower so this means that the display case placed on the bathtub was not properly sealed. Considering the price I can't consider myself completely satisfied.
Breakfast was not included and my flight was very early so I didn't have one

Had to wait a long time for room service and the food available was very limited, nothing like what was described on the menu

The hotel is just opposite to the Lusaka international airport. It was just 7 minutes walk. However, hotel can arrange transport to & from the airport.

The pool was a problem. No really safe way to get in and out. Many sharp edges and no idea how deep it was.

High quality, well presented hotel. Excellent location relative to the airport. Nice facilities.. check out the pool and gym. Shuttle bus to terminal. Friendly efficient staff. Good and consistent WiFi, good water pressure and comfortable, well presented room.

There was a smell in the bathroom emanating from under the bath. Property was full so I did not ask for another room. Restaurant staff are really friendly and try hard but need more training.

The bathroom had a leaky toilet and the water from the sink had a smell of cement about it.

Breakfast is a bit spartan for the price. You'd pay the same or less in Berlin. We arrived dead tired at 1 in the morning, and my provider did not log into the local network to call for a pickup. Pushing the cart with luggage along the road is about 800 m or 10-15 minutes.
The location is close to the terminal, and it is the only one. The building is airy and large and modern, having being completed only recently. Staff are friendly and helpful.
