It was in an ideal location, close to many of the landmarks and tourist sites. The owner and his family were very welcoming, the breakfast was great, the riad was very clean and kept really tidy. Interactions with the owner were great and he was kind enough to let us meet his pet dogs and told us a bit about tanger. I didn’t feel like I had to walk on eggshells and I felt really comfortable at this establishment. Definitely recommend!

I loved staying at Dar Essaki. It's right in the middle of the old medina and at the same time in a very calm street so you can sleep easily at night. Very secure, also. I arrived at night to Tanger and was staying for one night. The next day, I left my luggage in the hall of the Dar and went out to visit the city. I came back after and picked it up. And I have to mention the smiling Mohammed who was very arranging and always there when I had questions ! All in all, it makes you feel at home. The terrace/rooftop is great. I recommend it! For quality/price, it's worthwhile :D

We had a lovely stay. The location in the upper part of the medina near the kasbah was excellent for exploring the medina but also easy to access taxis and head out for restaurants and other attractions. The staff did a great job, and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the city was a great way to start the day.

Super cozy place. U can see that the owner lives in Europe so she knows all the important details we r looking at the place where we stay. Amazing rooftop 🔥. The room had nice bad (but double bad, not two single, so we had to share it with my bestie). Very clean room and bathroom.
