United StatesI got upgraded to the nearby Bait Almuallem that's owned by the same owners. It is an absolutely stunning room and 400 year old building, formerly a teacher's home that was partially restored. Communication with the staff before and during the visit was very good. The location is ideal - in the old town, with Nizwa Fort only a 3-5 minute walk away and the Souq a 5-8 minute walk away. The building has terrace access with a panoramic view of Nizwa Fort and the city wall. The room comes with a refrigerator and water and plenty of power outlets. Also, very importantly, the air conditioning was very strong. Breakfast is at the nearby Niz Cafe and was very good (traditional Omani meal). Shukran, Adnan, and team for a great stay!
