The Rockwell is ideally situated very close to public transport but in a safe leafy area.. Kensington High St is within a short walk and Kensington Gardens not far away. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff and lovely breakfast eaten in the garden courtyard in the summer-very special..

Very pleasant, polite and attentive staff. Traditional elegant surroundings. Breakfasts were superb- everything we ordered was just perfect, many items homemade and tasted especially good. Location was very handy for the bustling city centre, yet on a quiet side street; our room was at the back, looking down onto a quaint peaceful mews courtyard.

Clean and comfortable accommodation with useful extras (tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board), very helpful and pleasant staff, and a good breakfast buffet. Nice outlook onto the garden courtyard from the balcony of our room.

Breakfast was amazing with some traditional and more sophisticated options. The location adjacent to the common was ideal for me as I like to go jogging - it seemed very safe too. A quick walk also brings you to the High Street where there are plenty of the normal shops and some unusual and special finds like the Brickwood cafe (to die for banana bread) and the lovely Argan Moroccan restaurant - also the quaint and lovely Clapham Picture House.

Great location. We had a very spacious apartment within the hotel. Lovely internal atrium courtyard for drinks. Super helpful & happy staff. Amazing offer of free cheese & wine on an evening sealed it for us!

This is a great little hotel tucked away behind Fleet Street and perfect for accessing the City or any of the myriad of Chambers for the High Court. Restaurant is excellent, as is the courtyard for a quiet drink. The shower was huge and excellent (I hate those small plasticy ones that you can barely turn around in), the bed was comfortable. It's not an inexpensive hotel, but if you're meeting with lawyers or in court or going to the City, it's perfectly located and the price is offset by the taxis one would otherwise take.
