Great riad, we felt super welcomed from the first second. The staff did everything to make us comfortable. The riad itself is very nicely decorated and located close to the market, but at the same time in a quiet location. We booked taxis and excursions from the riad, it may be just a little more expensive but it saved us a lot of time and made our stay relaxing and comfortable. I would especially like to mention the manager Soufiane, a very professional, helpful and simply pleasant young man, it was always a pleasure to talk to him. But actually whole team is great. We had a truly wonderful stay at this family-run hotel. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed with fresh local mint tea, and in the evenings we could always enjoy another cup — the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The room was very clean and beautifully styled, and the whole building felt like a real palace. We were treated like princesses throughout our stay. The team shares a genuine bond and always goes the extra mile — attentive, responsive, and caring in every detail. The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant, with birds in the guest area and soft vintage music in the background. There is also a rooftop terrace, perfect for enjoying the views or relaxing on warm days. We also enjoyed the hammam experience at the hotel, which was very comfortable and convenient to have everything in the same place. The location is excellent, close to the main attractions, making it easy and enjoyable to explore the area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with excellent quality and different desserts every morning, which we truly enjoyed. Considering the high level of service and care, the price was very affordable. Small, thoughtful touches — including a lovely birthday surprise and the joyful celebration when Morocco won a football match — made the experience truly special. It was the best place to celebrate my birthday in a different and memorable way. Location is very convenient, nearby the entrance of Medina old town. Hotel provides their decent home-made breakfast at morning time, pancakes are very nice, taste excellent, breakfast supply is abundant. Our host is very nice, he guides us where to find good and cheap restaurants and tricks to visit the city. The day we need to leave early in the morning, he also woke up early and came together with us to the street, help us find a taxi and bargain the price, make sure we can get a taxi to CTM station on time.

I was so excited to stay at the Riad Zaya and the pictures did not disappoint! One of the most beautiful places we have stayed for the value of the money. It was a short walk to the gate of the Medina when we had to meet up with a driver. The rooms were super clean, the breakfast was great, but what will bring us back again is the staff. Our host, Youssef, took wonderful care of us. He helped with reservations, tours and even cooked us dinner. We now have family in Fez!
