We booked one night here for some relaxation time after hiking the 5 Huttenweg Trail (which we highly recommend!). The hotel looked comfortable and charming online, but it was even better than we expected. The room was lovely with an absolutely breathtaking view from the balcony, looking up over a green, hilly pasture to the mountain behind. We spent a very long time sitting out there, drinking some wine and watching the horses at the neighboring property graze. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was heavenly after our 6+ hour hike. At night, we left the window cracked and could hear the bells of the cows next door. Dinner was fun and delicious, and breakfast offered a very lovely selection of local, homemade treats. The staff was truly outstanding, with excellent English (though willing to humor my very poor attempts at German) and welcoming, friendly demeanors. The location is really perfect for day hiking, with many major trails passing right behind the property, and the hotel loans out basic equipment like trekking poles and backpacks for free. We really wished we'd booked a longer stay to take more advantage of both the activities in the area and the hotel amenities! We sincerely hope to get the opportunity to visit again someday.

it was extremely peaceful, you are treated so good, when you walk in to the front desk you are welcomed with extremely professionalism and kindness, when you walk in to the dining area it has a relaxing feel every one guest included are so friendly and greet you when you arrive. the food is AMAZING!!! excellent quality and they even grow there one herbs, and it was cheap compared to what they give you and the quality. I highly recommend staying here!!!!!

This place is perfect in every way. Dinners at the restaurant are gourmet quality. Rooms spacious and super clean. Facilities wonderful. Can't recommend it enough.
