The hotel location was perfect- convenient for both Great Barrier Reef and Kuranda village tour pickups. it was also very convenient for a stroll on the Esplanade and its plethora of restaurants and nighttime entertainment. we also ate at The Backyard Restaurant- the dinners were delicious and the staff were outstanding, accommodating several special requests. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with ample amenities. They could benefit from food options at the coffee bar if one wants a quick or light breakfast, and the coffee bar should stay open later. The pool was clean annd spacious though the deck might be very tight during high season. Umbrellas and towels for excursions at the front desk were a nice touch.

Park Regis City Quays consists of modern, fully self-contained apartments and hotel rooms, nearby the Reef Hotel Casino, night markets, the City Esplanade, Cairns Marina and Reef Fleet Terminal.

The staff were amazing. We've gone on many trips to many different countries, but we've never seen staff that were as friendly as the ones here. There was a man who showed us maps and attractions of the Tablelands, and the staff member who checked us in even helped us look for things to do in our next destination. Staff were 20 out of 10. Three thumbs up :) The location is also great! Unlike most hotels in Cairns, it isn't dead-center of the main tourist area, so it's very quiet but still very accessible. 10 out of 10 :) The rooms are larger than most hotels, and although there is no housekeeping, that is more than made up for by the fact that it has a dining area, a kitchen, and a washing machine. I cannot stress this enough. This hotel is amazing.

Close to the Aquarium, the wharf, the lagoon, lots of restaurants and the Esplanade. Room was well set up. My room had a water kettle, coffee, tea and refrigerator.

There was a little mis communication with what i orded in at breakfast (Room service) but it was quickly fixed by friendly staff without any hesitations or anything. Apart from that everything went planned smoothly.

This was an amazing place to stay and we are sad that it was only for one night. Everything is thought out to the last detail, there is coffee and tea always available in the hallway for free, the design of the room is amazing. The staff is super friendly and they offer luggage storage. We also had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and both were super delicious and reasonably priced. Highly highly recommend!
