OMG - I love this hotel! From the minute we arrived, we were so warmly greeted by staff and it was just fantastic til the moment we left! Old fashioned (but refurbished!) hotel right near the centre of town... five minutes walk if you take the pathway. The room was huge and fabulous! It even had a couch... Friendly and helpful staff Room was quiet Beds were so comfy No elevators but stairs are fine Dinner with a view and food was delicious and it was so nice just being able to walk up to your room after your meal... But we didn't - because there was also a proper bar with a proper piano man playing music all night long - so wonderful! We listened right to the end. We have never done this before and had no idea how enjoyable this can be. Lovely huge lounge Plenty of parking on site Competitive rates with the other properties in Katoomba - so happy we chose to stay here as was a just an all-round experience like what you see in the old movies!

Beautiful furnishings, staircase, and so many places to sit and relax, have a drink, read a book or play a game. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was lovely too. Staying at this hotel is like being wrapped in a cozy blanket of luxury, with views that could make even the most seasoned traveler pinch themselves just to check if it's real. The scenery outside the window is so stunning, it's like Mother Nature hired a personal decorator. And let's talk about the rooms - they're so lovely, I half expected them to tuck me in at night and read me a bedtime story. It's like sleeping in a cloud made of marshmallows and dreams.

Basic motel style. Fixtures a bit dated. Upgraded to a “spa bath” to find it was just a batteredold jacuzzi bath. Not worth the upgrade! Does what it says on the tin. A good hike from the station but 2 mins walk to all the attractions. Would stay in wentworth next time.

Big comfy sofas in the lounge area with piano player in the afternoon made it a very relaxing trip . Bed was comfortable and the lemon scented toiletries were lovely .
