This was our second time at Pousada Luar da Praia. It's a small hotel, perfect for families and for couples looking for some peaceful time by the beach. The staff is excellent, the swimming pool and direct access to the beach are the main differentiators here. The breakfast has lots of different cakes and local typical food. The restaurant serves delicious food during the entire day amd evening, also a plus so you can relax at the beach the entire day. The beach has many turtle nests, and you can see turles hatching if you are lucky! The sunrise early morning is just amazing as well, definitely worth waking up early to enjoy it!

I loved the peacefulness of Lujimba and the lush vegetation all around. Roberto was always willing to give advice and I especially enjoyed two yoga classes next door. Renata is an accomplished Iyengar teacher. The beach and river are a five minute walk and couldn’t be more lovely. A great stay for a week.

We have visited Vilangelim many times and are always happy with our stay. The grounds and facilities are lush, beautiful and well conceived, preserving the tropical setting and vegetation. A very comfortable and welcoming environment, whether spending most of your time on excursions around the area or hanging at the pool and restaurant to relax after a day at the beach. HIghly recommended.
