When locals ask you where you’re staying and you mention Luganodante, they happily nod affirmatively, reassuring you made the best decision. And they’re right The hotel is right in the city center, everything is within walking distance (this includes the historical city center, the lake, the Cathedral, the funiculars of both Monte Bre and San Salvatore, train and bus station). The staff is probably the best I’ve ever seen, and I travel for business all the time. They’re genuinely kind people who will do everything to help make your stay the best it can be. the breakfast and the restaurant in general is 10 out of 10 Michelin guide recommended - the selection is just everything you can ever wish for. The room was clean, comfortable, regularly maintained. Pick Luganodante, you won’t be disappointed.

Super clean and spacious room, with lots of natural light. Really loved the bright and cheery decor. It felt very homey and relaxing. A wonderful change from the dreary dark rooms at other places I've stayed at. Made me wish my stay here was a little longer. The hotel staff were super friendly, offering to help me with my luggages at the staircase. They even offered me some cultery to use when I brought my take out back to the hotel. Would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to this area.

    The staff were lovely and really helpful, especially in helping to accommodate us with our baby. The pool by the lake was gorgeous and the bar was a lovely place to relax with a drink. The breakfast buffet was also great. It was really easy to walk into the town with lots of bars, restaurants and shops but felt very peaceful and relaxing by the lake.

    Very nice hotel with beautiful scenery of Lugano lake and mountain. Nearby city's center and a lovely small square just in front of the hotel. Lots of luxury brand shops on the Nassa street. Big balcony, a cup of wine on chair to see the lake and mountain. Museum LAC and MASK just few minutes to access by walk. All staffs kind and supportive. Breakfast quite comfortable.

    The staff were extremely welcoming, it was our 40th anniversary and not only did they upgrade our room but they gave us a special surprise too. We enjoyed the pool and lounging area outside- very relaxing.

    Lovely hotel. The room was small, but we were a family of 4 sharing. Lovely little extras for the kids and great advice from reception as to where to eat nearby. The pool was small but absolutely brilliant and the area around it was a lovely place to relax. Fantastic breakfast which we ate by the pool.

    The rooms were lovely and large with a balcony view. Clean and comfortable. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Great location close to the lake and an easy walk to Lugano centre. The restaurant was also good and the poolside area a lovely space to swim and relax from the heat of the day.
