The hostess is a wonderful human. She takes special care as she designed and built the Pension herself! On my Camino Norte, I wanted a place away from the center of town, and this was a wonderful oasis. So many thanks for a memorable visit to Castro Urdiales!

loved the rural location- it was perfect for relaxing and resting. views out my windows were farm fields - it was very private. Mar, the hostess, was so accommodating and kind.

I love the history of the place and how owners tried to maintain it. Accommodations were good, showers a little small but good water pressure and hot water to relax before going to bed.

This is a little gem of a hotel. Exceptional cleanliness. Minimal in extras, but great value for one night stay before leaving on a cruise. Would definitely recommend .

Nice hotel in Getxo. Everything was clean and comfy. Staff was helpful. If you want to visit Bilbao but you don't want to overpay for a hotel or for parking, this is your place. Plenty of free parking space (September through May, in the summer months you have to pay for street parking). Train station is a 5 minute walk and you'll be in downtown Bilbao in less than 20 min. In addition, Getxo is a lovely beach town with many restaurants and bars.
