Lovely small hotel in a secluded location. Our room had windows in 3 directions each with a lovely rural view. We were only there for one night and we really enjoyed sharing wine and practising Spanish with Joaquin

Los Caspios is an old quirky hotel situated outside La Isla. It's appeal is for certain type of clientele with transport options to get them there and access local restaurants etc. We paid extra for a room with a sitting area with views to the sea and mountains. It was a nice place to sit and relax. The kind staff provided us with food because we were pilgrims and there is no restaurant in the hotel or nearby. This was much appreciated.

The bedrooms are comfortable, pretty and very clean. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. There's a fridge in the room which was handy for storing some food and drink for the next day. There's a big supermarket next door. The hotel has a lovely little garden to enjoy.

This is a WONDERFUL spot! Right on the Camino del Norte, easy walk to town to explore shops, bars, restaurants, and cathedrals. The rooms are interesting and unique with high, high ceilings, exposed stone and timbers, modern bathroom, and more. We had a balcony which was lovely. The magic is in the gardens with cozy, eclectic seating. An absolutely charming place to sit, relax, and bask in the beautiful flowers and surroundings. Breakfast here was ample. Management and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
