There is so much to see in the hotel itself. A fantastic building with architectural oddities all over the place. Staff were tremendous and the rooms were very well presented with a nice mix of traditional and modern decor. I'd imagine the garden would be lovely on a sunny evening (which we didnt get..) Breakfast was good and the staff serving it was happy to deal with any requests.

Outstanding! Absolutely everything! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved how quite it was on arrival we had the whole spa to ourselves, the gym on the morning. It was so relaxing 😌 the bar staff were lovely and when asked if he had two wine glasses I could borrow to take back to my room he had no problems with it and also offered me an ice bucket to go with it. I thought it was a very thoughtful and friendly thing to do. On arrival our original room was taken so they replaced hour double room with a outstanding way out of our budget room, with patio doors that lead out to the garden, with our own tablet and chairs, in our room we had our own bath jacuzzi. It was just magic ✨ I'm thinking of becoming a member and ot being a regular thing.

This gave my wife and I a chance to stay in a proper quirky Manor House. What was surprising was the award winning Indian Restaurant operating also in the house, which has been voted in the top ten in UK. The food and service was amazing and the hallway gallery with the awards and press clippings for the restaurant and the history of the house back to the 1700's. Our room was huge with a beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed and big windows to open. We slept well. This has certainly been a highlight of our trip from Australia. The staff were just great, friendly and chatty and Ollie the cat at reception thinks he is the owner of the Manor.

A friend and I stayed at Olivia House for a few days in June and had the most lovely stay. Impeccably clean and comfortable, the little touches like a free glass of wine & chocolate were a delight, and we felt so welcome in this unique B&B.
