Staff went above and beyond - when our car broke down and we were late returning to the hotel, Dave the barman stayed up late to let us in and welcomed us in with a glass of wine. Lovely situation - our room was fantastic - it felt like a suite to ourselves at the top of the hotel overlooking the church. Dinner was delicious - would highly recommend a stay here and we will be back

We had booked the room for a romantic weekend at the beginning of a relationship. The room offered was lovely, but on the ground floor with the outside dining atea immediately by the bedroom window. When our situation was explained to the staff, they were lovely and understanding and swapped us for a bedroom inside the building on the first floor which offered far more privacy. My thanks to the staff.
