Hotels That Guests Love in Glasgow
  • We stay there every year for our anniversary and it never fails to meet our expectations. We were upgraded free to a junior suit and had prosecco, chocolates and a lovely card in the room to help us celebrate. The staff are amazing and nothing is to much trouble for them.

  • Wonderful hotel in the Grand retro style, loved our stay! Guest manager made us feel especially welcome for our honeymoon!

  • We stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary and from the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful (special mention to Vicky at the front desk for being ace sorting a bottle of bubbly and some chocolate coated strawberries!). The room was well kitted out and spotless and the bar area was friendly and efficient.

  • It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary note and box of chocolates! I was having issues with working the heating and the girl at the front desk (didn’t get her name) couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful or professional. Will definitely be back and will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

  • We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the most incredible time. The hotel is beautiful, everything was perfect and we were so well looked after. Amazing cocktails and food! Service was 10/10 and the hotel even sent me new skincare products after I left mine in the room! Could not fault our stay here. Thank you :)

Things to Do in Glasgow

Glasgow Necropolis
This Victorian graveyard is built on the hill where St Mungo first founded the city. He called it “glaschu” – Scots Gaelic for “dear green place”. It’s a sad yet beautiful spot where grey tombstones and mausolea line the grassy inclines. Scale the hill for glorious Glaswegian sunsets, but don’t stay too long – the “City of the Dead” is rather spooky after dark!

How well restored were the castles in Glasgow?

Stirling castle definitely worth a day trip. Very well restored and interesting. If you want to visit other castles make sure you ask about the explorer pass.
The Culzean Castle is totally maintained with pristine grounds.
