At St. Andrews' oldest coaching inn, enjoy open log fires, award winning food and really friendly people to look after you.

This charming 400 year old coaching inn is situated just 5 miles from the famous golfing town of St. Andrews. We pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome and the great food and ales we serve. Enjoy all this in cosy surroundings with open log fires and lots of things to do both within the inn and surrounding area.

Booked a standard double room which was lovely, furnished well and cosy. Dog friendly our Cocker Spaniel was made so welcome. Food was outstanding, breakfast was included and we ate dinner at the Inn too. Cooked and presented to a very high standard, and value.

Beautiful location, clean, well equipped and a little bit of luxury for our honeymoon. We were greeted at the door by a wonderful concierge team member and checked in by a lovely team member, both made our trip extra special. Had meals in the club house and Italian restaurant and both were exceptional so no need to go into town, although they do provide an hourly shuttle if you want to venture out. Would highly recommend and will stay again!

Loved my relaxing stay and was upgraded from a single to a cosy double room. It was very quiet at the back of the hotel, with a view over the gardens to the sea. Everything was close by, with the High Street only being a five minute walk from the hotel.

It was our 45 th wedding anniversary and we were upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was a very nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas. We ate in the Jigger Inn, the Road Hole Restaurant and had breakfast in the conservatory and enjoyed all the food and the good service. It is so good not to have a breakfast buffet and to have all food cooked to order. We were also given very good tables with lovely views.

It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we were given a free upgrade to an Old Course Suite. The hotel were very helpful in arranging a couple of surprises in our room as well. The staff were very friendly and keen to find out what we were doing during the day. We never felt rushed at any point and were able to relax from the moment we arrived. Lovely drinks and view in the Old Course Bar and breakfast in the conservatory was excellent with a great choice
