The owners have restored this historic house to the highest expectations of quality and care for preservation of a piece of history. The interior design shows care and respect for the integrity for an architectural gem. Everything has been restored with respect for the nature of the building. I was welcomed by some lovely staff in the Tea Room who showed me through to the private garden. The room was perfect, very clean, great shower in the wet room and a very comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again, it’s about a 5 minute walk from the free public car park with walking along the flat, which in Burford is a bonus. The garden area was beautiful with lovely flowers and a real sun trap. The food in The Priory Tea Room is also lovely, highly recommend the ice cream. Great stay, thank you.
