How well restored were the castles in York?

History goes back to 71AD - the city walls can be walked and the views are interesting, there are lots of historic buildings and lots of tours to give them life
The medieval aspects and the roman aspects are some of the best. The wall tours are a must
Well preserved, well presented, accessible.
