This is one of my favourite hotel when traveling. I stayed there several times over last few years. It is located downtown, by the port with excellent view from the restaurant of both port, the aquaduct and the castle.

This beachfront Kavala hotel features 2 restaurants and an outdoor pool. The 5-star Hotel Lucy is set in an impressive 8-story building, a 5-minute drive from the city center.

We loved this 5 star hotel right on the beach in Kavala. When we arrived, they upgraded our room to a junior suite which was delightful. We had a large king bed, and two balconies that overlooked the ocean. We were very close to the water's edge and could hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. Our view was beautiful, looking out over the water and the town of Kavala. The bed was comfortable. We had two comfy chairs, as well as a desk with a chair. The bathroom was roomy and well equipped. The room was spacious and so relaxing. It comes with a breakfast buffet which was varied and delicious. All the staff were very helpful and most of them spoke decent English. There was a nice market nearby to pick up some fruit and water and snacks. The staff would call for a taxi for us whenever we needed to go anywhere. The hotel itself is about a 5 minute drive from the city of Kavala, which is a very authentic Greek city and not overrun with tourists.

Located in Kavala, Old Town Inn is housed in a neoclassical building and provides free WiFi.

The location is outstanding! But what really makes this hotel so fabulous is the staff. I'm a senior solo traveler. They were sensitive to my needs, friendly, kind and professional.

Hotel Acropolis is located on the beachfront in Kavála, a 14-minute walk from Rapsani Beach and half a mile from House of Mehmet Ali.

We loved the location (our room was just over the sea) and the food was delicious with many choices for every meal. The room was fine and very clean (the towels were changed every day and the bed linens every 2 days), the bed was very comfortable and there was a/c everywhere. The bungalows are surrounded by beautiful gardens, the sea is very clean, calling you to jump in any time of the day. Last but not least, the personnel is always smiling and available for our needs. We are definitely coming back!!

The location on first line to the beach is really comfortable when you travel with kids. There is a alley outside the hotel which leads to the village for 25 minutes walk which allows us to make our daily steps :)) The people are friendly, smiling and helpful. The garden is cosy and well-kept. The place is away from the crouds, the beach is calm. Great accommodation!

Centrally located both for business and leisure, Hotel Oceanis is just opposite the Archaeological Museum and 492 feet from port in Kavala.
