The proprietor was a joy. She was very helpful and the rooms were very clean and our stay was great. It was very close to the Cathedral and once we parked the car, about two blocks away we could walk to everything.

Just 1000 ft from Monreale Cathedral, Palazzo Ducale Suites is a characteristic 19th-century building in the historic center. Breakfast is served on the terrace, which is covered in winter.

everything was perfect. Our suite was very clean and with all comforts. there is a nice restaurant nearby, La Macina, with excellent food and the Cathedral is very close to Palazzo Ducale Suites.

The location is perfect in the middle of the city with a lot of restaurants close by. Dont get fooled by the streetview, all streets in Palermo look the same, dirty and ruined. The hosts are super nice, make you breakfast each morning themselves and clean the room every day. We felt pampered as if visiting grandparents who love us so much.

We have stayed in this hotel several times so now it feels like home. The staff welcomes us with so much joy and care. We know most of them by name and they are all wonderful ! We love to stay in this hotel, the facilities and the rooms are great, location is prime! Right in the center of Palermo so we walk everywhere. The restaurants are excellent as well. The hotel is an historical landmark and it shows. The lobby, the bar, the restaurants, they are all beautiful. All the different rooms we have stayed in have been beautiful, with very large bathrooms, closets, welcome sweets, etc. When in Palermo we don’t give it a second thought. We stay at des Palmes !

We loved this hotel B&B. The location was perfect, right in the center of the action! The hotel is in an old historic building, and the room, with it's 20 foot ceiling, reflected the historic nature of the building. The room was huge, with a balcony overlooking one of the main roads in downtown Palermo. They have added noise-proof doors, which is great, as this area of quite lively and noisy 24/7. The bed was probably the most comfortable of the 5 places we stayed on our Sicily trip. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was quite tasty. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again, as it was a great value for the money. The teatro Massimo was right next to the hotel and was pretty at night.

Very friendly staff. Excellent room (actually 2 rooms) with a view. Very clean and comfortable bed. Great common kitchen which we could use (tea, coffee, cookies, fruits). We also had breakfast which was included. We were allowed to leave our luggage until 4 pm the next day while we explored Palermo. I strongly recommend this hotel.
