Fantastic architecture and landscape, the place is a virtual palace on the edge of the Sahara desert. Sunrise over the dunes was spell binding There is plenty of courtyards, balconies and open space for what appears to be a small number of guest rooms. The food was very well prepared and tasty. The staff are friendly and delightfull. They even mailed, at no expense to us, a room key we accidentally brought from our previous nights lodging. Topping this off with a camel ride adventure rated our Raid Ali stay as Best of the Best.

This is a stunning riad, right at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Gorgeous courtyard and common areas. Beautiful rooms. We got an upgraded one with a private terrace overlooking the dunes. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the ladies in kitchen are the best cooks in the country. We had our best meal of our entire 2 week stay in Morocco (across 10 venues) here. It was a pre-fixed menu for all the guests, but we had no complaints - all the courses were delightful! The riad arranged for us to go out into the dunes on buggies the next morning which was a really fun experience. Sorry we had only one night here - had we known better, we would have skipped the night in the Berber camp and just done the sunset camel riad into the dunes from Riad Madu as well.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Les Roches in Merzouga. The hotel was amazing and centrally located, close to the dunes. It has a charming pool and an incredible rooftop where we enjoyed watching the sunset. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly and organized everything very well, helping us throughout our stay. Thank you very much we will definitely come back next time, and I will gladly recommend this hotel.
