The style of the outside of the Hotel was welcoming. On entering, it had a clean stylish interior. Very tastefully decorated and sympathetically decorated to the style of the colonial period. The whole place had a beautiful dreamy atmosphere about it. The Staff in every area of the hotel delivered Outstanding Customer Service. They were helpful and eager to help without being overbearing . The outside eating area remained me of being by the pool area, with three or four areas where you could draw the beautiful coordinating curtains for privacy. I did not use the swimming pool myself, but was told the temperature was just right. The breakfast offer was just right to set you up for the day because all around were great places for you to eat other things you might like.

very nicely designed rooms with very friendly staff, providing us lots of tips and recommendations on where to go and visit. They are very helpful and can reach out to them easily via whatsapp for questions. they provide little local snacks each night for us to try. one thing i didn't read properly is that there is no TV in the room, but it was fine. we were watching on ipads and just chill in the room

The entire building exudes a sense of elegance and nostalgia. The rest area behind the G/F reception is a beautiful long corridor with sofas and hanging chair, which gives me a bit of a Casablanca movie vibe. Every day when we returned, we would sit there to relax, immersing ourselves in the graceful surroundings. At this price, I think it’s definitely worth it.

The hotel is located in the center of George town (very close to Prangin mall) so i can walk everywhere. The staffs were so nice, i just asked whether 2 bottles of water in the room are free or not, but they even gave me 3 free more. The ground floor always smell quite pleasant. My room is a little bit small but it's not a big issue. The bathroom and the bed are totally clean. There is a 2-pin power outlet in the room, which satisfied me so much. Don't worry about the noise, because Penang is basically a place that is not too noisy, and specially around the hotel
