The rooms are comfortable, the location great and close to so many restaurants and Banh Tanh - but without a doubt. It’s the staff that makes this place so memorable. Everyone was so caring and welcoming, but special thanks to Phuong, Luang and (unfortunately i never got his name), but the guy who works evenings. They made us feel like family and helped us order banh mi, navigate the city and handled any request we had. I could not imagine a better staff. Great bathroom and shower pressure, good breakfast (the pho was better than a Michelin place we tried!) and unbeatable location.

Excellent location right next to the Ben Thanh market. Rooms very clean and quirky in style. The staff at this hotel were fantastic from check in to check out. Ashley was in touch via WhatsApp recommending restaurants and on answer for any queries. The rooftop restaurant is amazing.

This is the second time we have booked a 2-week stay at the Sherwood. This is a great choice for a budget conscious family (we have four small children). The neighborhood is very walkable, the hotel facilities (though a little dated) are entirely suitable, nice shaded pool (no worries for sunburn) and most importantly the staff are excellent! Pro tip: make sure to get a simcard and download the GRAB app for food delivery and easy transport around Saigon.
