We had a fantastic stay at Falkensteiner in Schladming. The hotel looks even better in person than in the photos. The wellness area is amazing, and the food with our half board exceeded all expectations. Really amazing breakfast selection! Every staff member was extremely polite and helpful. A special highlight was the Herbstcard, which gave us free access to the cable car and several local attractions. Highly recommended!

IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is a family run hotel, situated on an elevation in the Ennstal valley in Styria, at the foot of the Grimming mountain massif. Everything. Awesome location with amazing views, fantastic service, delicious food, very nice facilities.

The Heilthermen Resort Bad Waltersdorf is located in the Thermen- & Vulkanland in the East Styrian hill country, Eastern Styria’s hill country, 60 km from Graz. Everything. Spa. Fantastic food.

Decorated with antiquities and works of art, the Schlossberghotel enjoys a central location directly at the foot of the Schlossberg in the historic city centre of Graz. Really interesting and characterful property, with super staff who were always helpful. Be prepared to do some stairs…..the gardens extend far up the hill below the Schloss and should be explored! Rooms well equipped and spotless. Breakfast is of a very high quality. Highly recommended. Don’t overlook exploring the artwork in the property. It is rather interesting!

Located in the heart of Styria’s Thermal Region, Rogner Bad Blumau is not only a spa hotel, but a “Gesamtkunstwerk” (“complete artwork”), designed by the famous Austrian architect Friedensreich... We spent a marvelous holiday at Rogner Bad Blumau. I asked for an extra bed for my 4 years old son. Not only I was not charged for it, we also had a room much bigger than expected (and that we used to have in our previous stay). With two kids in the room that was amazing! Kids had place to move around even when we were in the room. The staff was always nice and accomodating. This is very mucg appreciated always, but with a 1-year-old that is in the phase of throwing food on the floor, it is appreciated even more! The spa is nice. There are a lot of different options. The food is excellent. The staff is great! There are big bowls with apples at the receptions, and the guests can take an apple from there. I found this small detail very generous and touching. Thanks a lot for our amazing stay. Everyone from our family was happy: kids, us, grandfathers and grandmothers.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Gösserhof is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Leoben, 29 km from Castle Kapfenberg. The facilities is very nice, clean, with a very welcoming owner. It has private parking and everything was perfect for a transit night of sleep.

Situated in Ramsau am Dachstein in the Styria Region, 2.3 km from Klanglift, Rittis Alpin Chalets Dachstein features a ski pass sales point and ski storage space. Bergkristall Lift is 2.4 km away. Incredibly nice staff. To our surprise, we got an apartment. Spacious spaces, two bathrooms,(robe, slippers). Finnish sauna, comfortable bed, wonderful wooden interior. Fireplace, quality porcelain in the kitchen,(nespresso capsule coffee machine). Super terrace with an incredible view of the Dachstein. Silence, peace, complete relaxation. It was like a dream to have a sauna in the apartment after the hiking. Ramsau can be reached on foot within half an hour. The Dachstein glacier car park is 15 minutes by car. Filzmoos with the marmots is only 10 km. 20 minutes by car. Rittisberg is less than 6 km away, a must for families with children :). There is a small fitness room. Lucky for us, we were the only ones using it when the rain came down. Correct treadmill, rowing bench, TRX, weights, SMR foam rolling. We made ourselves delicious teas. We loved it :). I highly recommend this accommodation! We felt fantastic!!!

Offering a sun terrace and spa centre, Sun Lodge Schladming is situated in Schladming in the Styria Region, 800 metres from Planai Bahn. Planai West is 1.4 km away. We travelled with our big children (23-25) in October. Appartment is very nice and large, close to the town, morning runs with my husky were beautiful. Although breakfast is not served you can order a basket what is really abondant (we ordered just 2 and it was fully enough).
