Excellently equipped apartment with a view of the garden, which is freely accessible. The advantage is the fridge with great local wines for sale, a free parking spot, the storage room for bikes and the location - a short walk from the center of a beautiful village with restaurants and a nice bakery, near the Danube, right on the bike path. The location, the room, the wine, the breakfast and Silke our host were simply amazing. We came as guests and when we left we felt we had a new friend. The small, family-run Donauhof is located close to the Danube River in the wine-growing village of Weißenkirchen, in the heart of the Wachau Region, the UNESCO world heritage. The breakfast was lovely, with a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and welcoming—almost fairytale-like. The mother-and-daughter duo are wonderful hosts, and their warmth and attention truly made our stay special. Highly recommended!

Built in 1574 as a shipmaster’s house, Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger Hof B&B is a protected building in the historic village centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. So much to love about this property! It’s beautiful, historic with many original features, wonderful staff - we booked 5 minutes prior to arriving and they couldn’t do more to make us feel comfortable, beautifully run, amazingly comfortable beds (cycled from passau to Vienna averaging 70km per day and this was my best nights sleep by far!), wonderful breakfast. I really hope we are lucky enough to stay here again one day and have recommended it to family and friends already despite only having stayed there last night. Even the village and neighbouring villages are stunning and rich with history and wine
