The small, family-run Donauhof is located close to the Danube River in the wine-growing village of Weißenkirchen, in the heart of the Wachau Region, the UNESCO world heritage. The breakfast was lovely, with a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and welcoming—almost fairytale-like. The mother-and-daughter duo are wonderful hosts, and their warmth and attention truly made our stay special. Highly recommended!
