The hotel is decorated with artworks of international artist Cristina Palacios and features renovated guest rooms and a spacious outdoor courtyard to relax in. What a gorgeous property! It definitely doesn't have cookie-cutter hotel rooms. Our room was beautiful with a 4 poster bed. We were sorry to only stay one night. It was also in a very convenient location for the down town.

Front desk staff was exceptional. The person who checked us in could see that I was stressed about finding parking, so she came outside with me and helped me find a spot. When we checked out, we forgot something in our room. We had left the area and when I called the front desk person, she had the item sent to our next destination for us. Much appreciated! Hotel is clean, in a nice area, walking distance to the town, and comfortable. Would stay again.

Leisure Inn Penny Royal Hotel & Apartments is a heritage property with modern facilities, conveniently located 10 minutes' walk from Launceston CBD. Unlimited free WiFi access is available from the guest rooms and apartments. The hotel very supportive as we are traveled with wheelchair person and the apartment was on the 3rd floor which no elevator. So, the hotel decided to give us one extra room on the 1st floor with no additional charge.
