The experience in this place has been incredible! The place is very authentic, everything is made by Michel and the whole place reflects his passion for this wonderful territory. It is not a hotel or a resort, so you need to be prepared to share facilities and spaces... and that's one of the things that people will appreciate here. The shared spaces are in the open, and they have all the necessary for cooking and storing your food. The bathroom is a beautiful little cabin made in wood, but it has hot water and a shower. The place is super clean and Michel keeps everything stocked and replaced. Food is cooked on the fire in the Tipi where you sit around the fire with other guests, but you have access to a electric cattle, camping stove, pans and plates and glasses. Our room was the Cabane: it is a few minutes walk into the woods from the "camp" and it has no electricity, but they provide a torch.. One of the best night sleep i had, no lights or noise except the wood and rain (and an occasional car on the closeby road)! The room is alsp equipped to cook and clean for longer stays. Extra points for the amzaing boat trip to see beavers offered by Michel on his boat: incredible experience!!

An outdoor hot tub and seasonal outdoor pool are available to all guests at this bed and breakfast in Trois-Rivières. Free Wi-Fi is included in all guest rooms. Wonderful stay. We were greeted by the host explaining everything and inviting us to a welcome drink. Bathroom is shared with two other bedrooms, but with a sink in our own bedroom, it was not a problem at all. We were surprised by a gourmet breakfast which was exceptional. Thank you !!

Set 2.3 km from La Cite de l'Energie, Gîte Chez Baza is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Shawinigan, boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and parking on-site. The room was spacious, with a private bathroom right next doors. The host is a very interesting man, who offers many complementary add-ons such as a delicious breakfast and a drink. Ultimatelly it was a very good experience for its value, and I'd definitely go back there again in the future.

Set between the Saint-Maurice River and the surrounding hills, this B&B in Saint-Jean-des-Piles is just 5 km from La Mauricie National Park of Canada. A hot breakfast and Wi-Fi access are included. The room was nice with two beds for my brother and I and it was a great breakfast

Gîte Saint-Laurent has a garden with a swimming pool overlooking the Saint Lawrence River. Wi-fi is free in all rooms, and there is a communal lounge with an open fireplace. Truely amazing hosts! Would always come back here. Such a lovely place with incredible self-made breakfast served by the hosts.

Located less than 15 minutes' drive from Mauricie National Park, Gîte La Belle Aventure offers accommodation in the small town of Grand-Mère. Rooms come with a queen bed. Isabelle is a wonderful hostess and makes the whole house available to her guests - living room, dining room, garden, patio, BBQ etc. The guest bedrooms are beautifully and very tastefully decorated with amazingly comfortable beds. The best bit of our stay though was definitely the breakfasts prepared by Isabelle herself - homemade granola with Greek yogurt plus a selection of freshly prepared pancakes/French toast and toasted bread with local maple syrup and homemade jam or caramel & loads of excellent seasonal fruit.

Located in Trois-Rivières and with La Cite de l'Energie reachable within 37 km, Les Suites de Laviolette Ascend Hotel Collection provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a seasonal outdoor... I was impressed with both the great decorating of the hotel and how clean every thing was. It was definitely a great place to stay and I will return if business brings me back to Trois Riviers, and I expect it will.
