We loved our stay here! We booked a family room which had a double bed, bunk bed and private bathroom and it was perfect for 3 of us. We ended up staying another night in Salento and luckily were able to extend our stay at CTBH in the same room. Our room included breakfast which was nice and varied, a choice of either choc chip pancakes, French toast or scrambled eggs and toast - all came with fruit. The hostel is definitely on the more boutique end, as it is beautiful and spacious, but still offers social activities and arranges different tours like mountain bike riding and horseback riding. The 24 hour tea and coffee available is amazing, as is how clean the place is kept including communal bathrooms. Our room was cleaned during our stay and we loved the amenities provided in the bathroom. The two huge hostel dogs are also a major positive about this place! It is further out of Salento than other accommodations, but this means it is more peaceful and quiet, and it is only about a 10-15 minute walk to get to the main square, restaurants and supermarkets

It doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like staying in a lovely traditional countryside home. A wonderful location, beautifully acquitted, clean and welcoming. Oh - and what a great breakfast!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Finca Campestre La Adelita, and it was genuinely one of the most heartwarming experiences we’ve had. The owner, Sonia, is an absolute gem—she welcomes you like you’re part of her family, which makes the whole experience feel incredibly homely. On the evening we arrived, Sonia hosted a little cheese and wine gathering for all the guests, and we spent the evening chatting in her sitting room, feeling utterly at home. She even gave us a brand new bedroom—it was the first time anyone had stayed in it—and it was absolutely lovely. The finca itself is a charming, traditional Colombian farmhouse, family-run, and full of character. Sonia makes her own cheese and butter, and breakfast is a homemade feast with fresh ingredients straight from the farm. You’ll find hens, goats, horses, parrots, and even a cow on the finca, all adding to that warm, rustic atmosphere. It’s a perfect place if you’re looking for a genuine, down-to-earth, and utterly charming Colombian experience. We couldn’t have felt more looked after or more at home, and I can’t recommend it enough if you want a cosy, farm-style stay with a truly personal touch.

The hacienda is just incredible. It’s super well kept, beautiful facilities and lovely staff. It’s an oasis hidden in the coffee region. The breakfast is very complete and and the options for lunch and dinner are great. They could increase the number of vegetarian dishes though. The coffee tour is a must, it was the best experience during our entire trip to Colombia. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before, do not miss it!
