The Burghotel Stargard dates back to the 18th century. It has rooms decorated in a Medieval style and furniture specially made for the hotel. This is going to be my go-to-accommodation when visiting my childhood home. I have been staying here a few times and it always is an experience! Mrs Sass is a wonderful hostess and supportive if ever needed. The breakfast is very special and I absolutely understand why the other guests gush about it. The member of staff who is responsible for setting breakfast up is just lovely and you can see the effort and love put in the trays. Little tip - book well in advance as this is a highly sought after location.

The apartments are an ideal base for hiking, cycling or relaxing here in the Mecklenburg Lake District. House was spacious and clean with a lot of amenities. Staff were very friendly! Due to a mistake we had to change houses on the second day but were offered a late check out on our last day. Surrounding is very quiet, especially in the low season. When booking accommodation in winter / early spring you have to take into consideration that almost everything is still closed.

Built in 1898, the Seehotel Schloss Klink provides elegant rooms and suites with bathrobes and hairdryers. Some rooms feature wooden beams and sloping ceilings. Beautiful location and sauna facilities. Breakfast was amazing, and evening drinks and sun on the lawn and terrace were lovely.

The 4-star hotel offers a 1,000 m² spa area, sports facilities and conference facilities. WiFi and private parking are available for free. Our stay was exceptionally great. The breakfast was out of this world great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Upon request, I was given the option to fetch a pot of coffee so we could have coffee in bed. The spa area is well thought out and spacious. We were really able to relax. The gym is a bit narrow, but we managed to work out twice and it was great. A wonderful addition and it was really good to be able maintain our routine.
