We spent one night at the hotel. We arrived late, the owner made every effort to leave the key, as the reception is open until 5 pm. But that's where the positives end. The breakfast was not bad

Hotel Strandhaus offers elegant, spacious rooms and suites with luxury beds, a flat-screen TV, minibar and oak parquet floors. The staff was very friendly and our stay was just wonderful right from the first moment to the last. The room was beautiful and the spa facilities were lovely. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel was also very good quality.

The hotel offers a sun deck and sunbathing area where you can relax and take it easy on nice summer days. Alternatively the hotel hires out bicycles as well as rowing boats and canoes/kayaks, which you can conveniently dock at the hotel. Good location to come down in every single way. They did offer some nice events and trips in the area to get in touch with the surroundings and regional culture even tough it was winter season. Pretty nice food in the in-house restaurant Eisvogel, my recommendation.

The Waldhotel Eiche’s Fontane restaurant offers a selection of regional dishes, and guests can relax in the beer garden with a drink. A buffet breakfast is served each morning. We loved everything about the place: the room, the garden, the restaurant. The beds were pretty comfortable, only pillows should be changed. Everything was clean. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast was exceptional.
