Located on Dominicus Beach, Catalonia Bayahibe - All Inclusive is a 20-minute drive from downtown La Romana. This stylish resort features parties every night and free WiFi. I stayed with my nephew at Catalonia Bayahibe for 6 nights between 31st Jan - 6th Feb. The hotel is located in Bayahibe - La Romana, one of the most beautiful areas of DR and probably the best beach: Caribbean crystal clear water and clean smooth light brown/white coloured sand ( NO sargassum at all here! ). The hotel is located about 45 min to 1 hour drive (depending on traffic) by car or taxi from Punta Cana airport). We were welcomed at the reception with a cold refreshing drink and the check-in process was smooth and informative! After that we were guided to our Privileged Deluxe Room with amazing view of the gardens. The room clean and modern with all basic amenities. They welcome you with a bottle of DR rum as a present and french macarons! All the drinks inside the fridge are free and are replaced daily if consumed. There is also water bottles for teeth brushing since the tap water should be avoided. The room is cleaned quite often and the towels are changed daily. The pool, the beach and the restaurant areas are all beautiful and well maintained. The gardens are amazing and perfectly preserved. The sunbeds are separated according to room type/hotel section but most of the other facilities are used by all guests equally. For some restaurants (dinner) you need to book a day or a couple of days ahead but for the main buffet (breakfast-lunch-dinner) you are free to enjoy with no booking. Everything is all inclusive: food, sallads, snacks, desserts, fruits, drinks, coffee, water etc. There is lots of food variety of good quality and taste. There are also bars/cafes to grab something to eat or drink. There is also a place serving crepes of your choice close to the beach. Water and ice provided by the hotel (even when not bottled) is safe to drink. Beach towels you get everyday from the personal close to the pool. The thing that people wake up early to secure their sunbeds by leaving their towels is true.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bahia Principe Grand La Romana - All Inclusive is located on the beach area of La Romana, a 1-hour drive away from Santo Domingo City. Beach was good. Water was still cold and not much algae. The dinner staff was great youleisi and Mateo provided great service. We were upgraded to the Boungaville,but we chose to eat in the Grand dining room because the dining staff was so nice and friendly. They provided excellent service.

Bayahibe Guest House Hotel is located in the centre of Bayahibe and offers self-catering accommodation. The ocean is just only 200 meters away from the Hotel. property is very comfortable. it is very close to the center of Bayahibe and the staff of the hotel is very kind with visitors. Rooms are very cozy, definitely is a place I really want to come back for more days.

This 7000-acre resort on the shores of the Caribbean contains a full-size replica of a 16th Century Mediterranean village and amphitheatre. La Romana International Airport is just across Highway 3. Everything was spectacular. From the moment we arrived the attention was excellent until the moment we left. The Villa where we stayed was beautiful.

Located in the centre of Bayahibe town, Hotel Tipico Maura offers a tropical garden and basic accommodation with free WiFi. Bayahibe Beach is just 5 minutes' walk away. Everything. The staff were helpful, very accommodating when I decided to stay an extra night. Location was perfect, close to everything.
