Located 200 metres from the Belfry in the town of Bergues, Bienvenue Chez Nous is also only 3 km from Dunkirk Golf Club and 20 km from Cassel. A buffet breakfast with fresh pastries and fruit juices is served every morning. Very unique and fun-filled decor ! They restaurant was great and very accommodating for special dietary needs

All rooms feature bathrobes and free toiletries. There is also a private toilet and bathroom fitted with a bath or walk-in shower. Some units have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. A flat-screen TV is offered. So relaxing! This place was perfect for our 3 nights stay . We had a spacious, bright room under the high beams with a bath tub and a separate shower. Windows on both sides viewing on a green garden. Free and safe Parking is possible but must be mentioned in advance as it’s a small parking on the villa’s grounds. It is a peaceful street in a villa’s area with a lot of gardens and green in-between. A 20’ beautiful walk to the centre through some (safe) woody area. The friendly owner speaks multiple languages, has fine tips for restaurants etc and they prepare an excellent breakfast, keeping in mind your preferences. The toiletteries are from Clarins. It is a bit outdated in the bathroom/ shower area but the style is classic and everything works so nothing really bothered us. They also have one of the cutest and civilsed little dogs I’ve met. And they surprised us by changing our harder sleeping pillows after the first night -without us requesting it (we just mentioned “en passant” that our preference is for soft pillows) We definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic old house with charm and soul. Breakfast was fresh bread and croissant from the local bakery. Garden is beautiful. Nice dog walks.

The garden is astounding, and has many places where you can sit and enjoy it! Lydia and Frédéric are very helpful and super organized. Great hosts. (Their Yorkies are adorable!) Breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade jams. La Tannerie is a wonderful place I'd love to stay at again.

Within its compound are vegetable and fruit gardens, a terrace and patio area, sun chairs and other greenery to enjoy, which my husband and I did with a glass of wine each evening—also visited by the friendly and cuddly cat. It is a peaceful place, and Anne hosts with passion and professionalism. It is obvious that she has carefully decorated each room and every morning, she greets you with a smile and homemade marmalades, and other local delectables for an incredible breakfast. We truly enjoyed staying there and hope to visit again.
