Traditional full English breakfasts are served daily in the Refectory, or on the spacious terrace. There is also an elegant lounge bar and the beautiful Campanile Garden to relax in. The Annex room with private bathroom was very good. The description of having to climb 40 stairs to the annex rooms is misleading. It was not a straight up 40 Steps but definitely not for those traveling with suitcases. Loved the closeness to the cathedral which allowed free unlimited walking in the cathedral and on the grounds all day. Breakfast was sit down by time skits and offered a fabulous huge choice. The rooms bathroom was big and the room had a large smart tv. Internet signal was strong. Definitely the place to stay if you’re a pilgrim starting the Via Francigena because you feel your right in the centre of this beautiful religious sanctuary.

Breakfast was perfect and bonus was the all day coffee machine. Little things such as cold bottled water available in the dining area 24/7 made this stay very convenient.

It was a beautiful Georgian building, Helga the owner was warm, welcoming and friendly and could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was beautifully cooked. This truly is a gem find that we would be happy to recommend to anyone.

The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I was traveling with my son and all though we arrived very late in the evening after the kitchen staff had finished, they had prepared a cold platter for us to enjoy on arrival which was very enjoyable. At the same time we left early morning and they gave us a take away breakfast to enjoy on our journey. We will definitely be back.
