The location was right on the water, beautiful view of the beach , but not close to the center. If you have no car, prepare to walk long with the suitcases to train or bus station. The room was very clean and cold (this was a good thing because it was 36°C outside). The owner stayed up (are flight was delayed, we arrived at 23:30). He was always friendly. The bathroom was clean and there were towels available to use and a little refrigerator to keep water cool. There is a couple of little grocery stores 2 min away, where you can buy the necessities and mostly water. There is a grass beach at just 5 mins away from the apartment which is a nice option because most of the other beaches you need to pay for.

The property itself is marvelous, the rooms were well equipped. Enjoyed the backyard area, plenty of seats, tables, lovely outdoor kitchen. The whole place has a warm welcoming vibe. The staff Renáta and Szabolcs were super friendly, it felt more like being invited to a friend’s place, than renting a room. They stayed on top of everything, had suggestions to make our stay even more pleasant and really kept the place running, they are like the “heart” of it there. They made excellent breakfast for us, kept the vacation chill vibe going and being always available in case we needed to ask for something. We will be coming back for sure. -Sarah, Balázs and Arthur

Both me and my partner traveled the world to more than 60 countries and stayed mostly in 5 stars hotels and aim for fine dinning. With all these in mind - This hotel is for sure high on our top for accomodation , gourmet tasty food and for the services they provide with a high atention for details. They also serve champaigne and caviar for breakfast. We will definitely return to stay more.

Le Hullam Villa est idéalement situé à Balatonmáriafürdö, juste à côté de la ceinture de roseaux du lac Balaton. Il est entouré par une belle campagne et se trouve à quelques pas du centre du village.... Lovely breakfast, super friendly owners.
