Adiwana Resort in Ubud was the first hotel I stayed at during my first solo trip, and I couldn’t have been happier with this choice. The location is perfect within walking distance of restaurants and shops, which made exploring Ubud very easy. I asked the hotel to arrange a driver for my day excursions, and they assigned Kodi, who was absolutely amazing. He made sure I ticked off all the activities I wanted to do in Ubud, took lots of great photos of me, and shared so much history and insight into Balinese culture along the way. The rest of the hotel staff were equally kind, friendly, and always happy to help whenever needed. I would highly recommend Adiwana, especially for solo travelers.

Set in Ubud and within 2.4 km of Ubud Market, Tirta Arum features an outdoor swimming pool, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly, extra helpful as well (helped me iron my really wrinkled dress). They provided a floating breakfast free of charge upon request. Room was absolutely spotless and staff would call to ask if they could clean daily. Water would be refilled daily. Staff offer suggestions for touristy activities, but give great alternatives to over-priced venues. While booking, the staff would reach out while I was still in Kenya to thank me for booking and also offer day tour packages, which I appreciated. The hotel is absolutely tranquil. Would absolutely book a stay again when in Ubud!

Goya Boutique Resort is a luxurious resort located an 8-minute walk from Ubud Monkey Forest, boasting contemporary design, a spa and an outdoor pool. Clean and very nice , rooms are a bit old and humidity is a problem but lovely pool , great breakfast . Everyone are so nice :)

Located in Ubud, 200 metres from Saraswati Temple and 100 metres from the centre, Ayu Homestay provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. We stayed 3 nights. The room is big and quiet .room is same as the photos . good water pressure with hot and cold, good breakfast, location is just a 2 mins walk to the very Ubud center. TV has you tube, internet is fast . Rista and her mom was very friendly. We arranged a tour with them and it was an awesome experience. We are very happy with our stay.

Situated a few minutes' away from central Ubud, Bisma Eight Ubud offers spacious contemporary rooms with traditional Japanese soaking tub. The villa design is exactly what you want in Bali . The pictures don’t do the hotel any justice ! It’s much better in person. The hotel restaurant has its own plantation that you can pick veggies from for your meals ! I Recommend the bitter melon egg scramble , the chefs nailed it! Best I’ve ever tried

Overlooking Tjampuhan River and terraced rice paddies, Ulun Ubud Resort is located in Sanggingan Village, 4.3 km from Ubud Market and Ubud Palace. Amazing location and view Staff is very helpfull and politely. Great breakfast, main course + buffet. Good value for the money.
