Deli River Hotel is approximately a 50-minute drive from Kuala Namu International Airport. The famous Lake Toba is about 4 to 5-hour journey by car from the hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. This little oasis was a perfect stay for us at the end of traveling around Northern Sumatra. The staff were great, the sheets were soft, the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to hang out at the pool

The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Medan Train Station and an hour's drive from Kuala Namu International Airport. Facilities and room very nice, breakfast really good. Perfect location.

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Peaceful and tucked away, this is a wonderful place to call home for a week or more! The cabins have a forest or waterfront location, with a terrace and hammock to call your own. There’s A/C, hot water, and fast WiFi. The dining area is beautifully set on the water, with snorkelling available directly out front. The food is excellent, but it’s the staff who really shine: Annie, Teatree, and Boy really went that extra mile to make our stay perfect! I would love to come back.

The property offers a shuttle service and features a garden and picnic area. The owners were exceptional and kind. The room was very clean and there was hot water.

Guests can make use of the business centre or relax in the snack bar. Beautiful location, amazing snorkelling we especially liked the local turtles who swam with us and very helpful and friendly staff. They organised anything we needed and all the food was delicious. The beach villa was very well appointed and worked perfectly for our family of 4. Thanks to Freddie for the hospitality it was lovely to see him again after our previous visit 12 years ago.

Set in Bukit Lawang in the Sumatra region, Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang has a patio. With river views, this accommodation features a balcony. We stayed on the upper floor of the cottage, and it was very spacious, with a balcony and a latch door leading to the rooftop with gorgeous view of the jungle and the river. The shower was literally a "rain" shower as it had an open roof， unique. It's one of the few places with aircon AND hot water shower. We enjoyed our stay here.

Wi-Fi and parking are free. Great to stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful, and the room was spacious, with very comfortable bedding and all the amenities. The breakfast was good ranging from Indonesian foods to Western. The location is in the middle of town, so easy to go to the centre and local markets. We stayed during Indonesian Independence day so, we could watch some parades and walking about was very pleasant.
