Loved every minute. So much to see, the Piazza, 5 mins from the Pantheon, 10 from Trevi, 25 from Vatican - all by foot. It was away from the throngs of people but still in the thick of everything The hotel was just beautiful - Jean is an exceptional host and the room was absolutely spotless - as a female solo traveller I felt exceptionally safe. The hotel is an old Italian townhouse with bags of character - so there are stairs etc, leading to the most beautiful little roof terrace. If and when I return to Rome, this is where I will be staying. Thank you Jean for making me feel so welcome and for a truly magical weekend.
