Super Hotel mit schöner Aussicht Richtung Park und Burg. Mein ursprüngliches Zimmer roch nach Rauch aber ein Zimmerwechsel war zum Glück kein Problem. 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Hauptbahnhof und ins innere Zentrum fährt die Straßenbahn.

The night view from our room and from the outdoor bath was spectacular. We forgot two items at the hotel, and the staff looked diligently to find them and mail them to us. There were no non-smoking rooms to reserve, but the staff had made sure that there was no odor in our room. The shuttle service was exceptional.

Boasting a 390-year history, Funaya offers hot-spring baths, a beautiful Japanese garden and a sauna. We had the junior suite with an amazing view of the city and the Matsuyama Castle. Our room was top notch with living room, bar area and separate bedroom. We loved it! The staff was efficient, polite and very professional. the location was perfect, just a walk down the hill to the famous Dogo onsen shopping arcade and train to castle.
