Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and enjoyed the view of the stage. Breakfast was excellent and the onsen felt magnificent.

You can also buy for a very cheap price cup noodles if you’re feeling lazy to go out. You also get free body soap and shampoo to enjoy the onsen! But the best part of the stay was Shumpei. He speaks very good English and he goes all the way out to make your stay the best possible. He helped me to get the tickets for the best baseball match I’ve ever seen.

Beds are comfortable, everything works well, good value also.

Boasting a 390-year history, Funaya offers hot-spring baths, a beautiful Japanese garden and a sauna. Wonderful & pleasant staff. Loved their service & bkfast & dinner. Thanks for serving us our French dinner even when we r an hour late.
