The whole experience at Pension Gooseberry was a joy throughout, with our hosts being the most friendly and accommodating people on our trip in Japan. They made us breakfast each morning and even offered dinner each night to eat with the family! While the rooms are small, they are cosy with comfy beds. The building itself is beautiful with a wooden beamed structure and plenty of natural light. They also have a couple of Weimaraner dogs who you can meet. We cannot thank the Gooseberry family enough for their incredible hospitality and genuinely hope to see them again in the future. Furano is a magical place made even more special by the people who live there!

Chalet Fuyuri ligt op slechts 1 minuut lopen van het gondelstation Kita-no-Mine bij het skigebied Furano. Het biedt accommodatie in appartementen met een woonkamer en keuken. I like everything about this accommodation. Well designed, well thought through to provide comfort and convenience to the guest. Nice long bath. Within walking distance to the ski area. Friendly staff who try their best to help. They provide free shuttle when I arrived/departed.

Het volledig rookvrije Pension Lavender ligt op 10 minuten met de taxi van het JR-station van Furano. Great place to stay for skiing Furano! Close to the slopes, great breakfast every morning, and the massage chair is a great plus. Shout out to Itoh-san, was great to chat to him and listen to his jokes.

Pension Ashitaya ligt in Furano in de regio Hokkaido, dicht bij Furano Winery. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Such a warm and generous pair of hosts in Jimmy-San and Noriko. Incredibly helpful and engaging, and Jimmy-san speaks excellent English. The place is absolutely lovely, with roaring fireplace and comfy sitting areas, as well as two great in house "onsen" (well... large hot baths). Jimmy-san was extremely flexible and accommodating with driving us to and from the ski hills as we didn't have a car. He even delivered our bags to us at lunchtime on the day we left so we could get the bus out. And the dinners were spectacular! Amazing and diverse home cooked Japanese food. Really delicious. Breakfasts were good too, but certainly not quite the same standard.

Fresh Powder Apartments ligt tegenover de kabelbaan Kitanomine en beschikt over een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een ruime badkamer en een flatscreen-tv met Playstation 3. The position was amazing and Gabriel is extremely friendly and helpful. He even gave us a lift to get grocies at the start of our stay and organised transport of gear back to out home.

The children-friendly hotel, Hotel Naturwald Furano offers a play area for kids and accommodations with free Wi-Fi and mountain or city views. Right next to Furano ski resort. Super friendly and helpfull people. Good food and complementary coffee.
