Really excellent stay in this out of the way and beautiful place! Our room had a private hot spring bath - perfect for relaxing after a hike up to the many shrines on the mountain. We came for when the Kabuki theater had a show and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was multi-lingual. Food was excellent, Japanese set menus in a charming dining room.

Hotel has great facilities - from welcome drinks to onsite onsen and provides free shuttle between 2 to 6pm to port. The lounge and room we had has a lovely view of the sea. The meals included have a lovely spread and consist of several courses. Dessert was a lovely bonus. Very peaceful and relaxing environment.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. We Booked a room with a private outdoor onsen and dinner. Everything was amazing. The dinner was excellent and the private onsen amazing. Breakfast was also very good.

Takamatsu Tokyu REI Hotel is located a 7-minute walk from JR Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port. It offers a restaurant and accommodation with free internet access. No need to carry luggage on stairs. Old but clean. Nearby convenience store and just beside the shopping street
