Warmly lit, the rooms are cooled with either air conditioning or a fan. Certain rooms have a flat-screen TV. The en suite bathroom comes with shower facilities. The beach is small and private but still busy with young people due to the multiple diving schools. The bed was not big but sufficiently comfortable, even for a 1.93m tall person. The staff is incredibly friendly and resourceful.

Flora Bay 1 is located on Perhentian Island, known for its beautiful sandy beaches and dive spots. Sitting on Teluk Dalam Beach, it has an on-site diving centre, snorkelling equipment for rent, as well as a souvenir shop. A fantastic location on a beautiful island with staff and owners incredibly friendly and helpful. My two sons completed their Open Water PADI course at the dive centre - they loved it!! The instructor was very patient and supportive. My wife and myself first visited Flora Bay in 1999 - it is still as magical, 24 years on!!
