Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. I loved everything about this place! The staff were ALL very friendly (and a special shout out to the lovely Mafalda who gave suggestions on what to see, answered our questions about the Portuguese language and culture, and delivered friendly smiles like warm sunshine every day without fail!) The rooms are well appointed & clean (extremely important to us!), the breakfast had a good selection each day (yes, the same foods each day, but you could select something new each day for a week without eating the same thing twice), the location is perfect (so close to beaches and a short 5-10 minute walk into town), the view is wonderful, and I miss sitting on the balcony each morning with my cappuccino enjoying the sea view and breeze with the sounds of doves cooing. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. I will definitely be back!

Excellent location in walking distance to restaurants and exploring town, beautiful room with extra comfortable bed, many areas to sit and enjoy the house and gardens, and access to the kitchen. Breakfast was excellent a the breakfast staff provided great service and recommendations for our visit.

Offering an outdoor pooll, ALLuar Lodge is set in Porto Judeu. Free private parking is available on site. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Comfortable and a great price. It was nice to be upgraded to a larger unit when we could sit on our balcony and eat a wonderful breakfast or watch the sunset.

Offering a garden and garden view, Quinta dos Figos "5 Trevos GOLD" is set in Praia da Vitória, 1.3 km from Riviera Beach and 2.7 km from Sargentos Beach. Close to the airport, attentive host greeted us for our late arrival and made sure we were comfortable. Very comfortable rustic style room.

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, Quinta do Espírito Santo is a country house set in a historic building in Angra do Heroísmo, 2.9 km from Negrito Beach. Francisco and Lucília renovated their old family estate and converted the summer house next to it into a rental apartment and rooms. The apartment is not fancy or modern like many rental apartments. However, we found it convenient, with everything we needed, and gave us some feeling of family life in Terceira. The quinta is surrounded by a wall and the large garden provides an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty. Having breakfast with Francisco and Lucília in their interesting house gave us some understanding of life of a community on a small island. We would have been happy to continue talking for a few more hours. It was an experience very different from our other stays in the Azores. We highly recommend it.

Boasting a garden and views of city, Casadangra, bnb is a guest house set in a historic building in Angra do Heroísmo, 600 metres from Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach. The beautiful old renovated house with internal terrace and garden, the very spacious room with terrace access, the fully equipped kitchen (although I didn’t cook), the extremely kind gesture of Margarida, the owner, to provide with a great offer of coffee, tea, chocolate, sugar, biscuits, milk and orange juices. Also very lovely the three cats that roam the garden and terrace. Bed and pillows very comfortable, in the bathroom shower gel and shampoo. Location is winning smacked in the historical centre of Angra but very quiet at the same time. It was home away from home. And Margarita is super nice and very very helpful. Highly recommended.

It was wonderful, located right on a banana plantation, fresh bananas every day. Donna Maria is wonderful! It was like I was visiting my mother. Thank you for everything.

The Costa Apartmentos are situated in a privileged position, above the Angra Do Heroismo Bay, in Terceira Island. Costa was incredibly helpful! And the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well - they we willing to help us with directions, taxi service and such.
