Everything was amazing. It lived up to its name... Really Charming. All the Staff were amazing. Laura who welcomed me was specially very nice. And genuinely nice. The bed was comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The garden and the views ... Really good. I had the room with private bathroom outside the room. But that was really no issue the bathroom is literally right next to the room. And was designate for my use only. So if you are one who is undecided because of the separate bathroom (as I was), you don't need to worry. It's no real inconvenience. The only regret I had is that I didn't stay there longer. I had booked in another 4 star hotel for other days of my stay and I kid you not....I would have rather been staying at My Angra Charming House the entire time instead of that other hotel.

Views for days! We LOVED our stay at ALLUar. I really think the pictures don't do it justice – the location is insane. Alberto and his wife have considered every detail and we noticed the small touches, from the homemade yogurt to the "PR manager" cat to the cross-stitched farewell. The cabin is small, but with lots of smart shelving and cupboards so there was lots of room for my friend and I – though I'd recommend it more for couples. Having the covered veranda makes a big difference. I'm already dreaming about how to return here and stay a full week. The place is really relaxing and calm. You will feel refreshed and cared for.

I spent 20 days in the Azores. but the best came at the end. I was allowed to spend 3 nights at Quinta do Espirito Santa with Lucilia and Francisco Maduro slides. I was allowed to spend my stay in a beautiful outbuilding of the Quinta. The house and the rooms in it are lovingly furnished. You are transported to another distant time. But the two hosts are definitely the highlight. I have never experienced such warm hosts. A hearty breakfast with many local specialties was served in the main building. The two gentlemen had a lot to tell and gave me an old insight into life on the Azorn and Terceira. We especially liked the conversations with Francisco. I was able to take away and learn a lot from his knowledge as a history professor. I highly recommend Quinta do Espirito Santo as a place to stay. The hosts receive 1000 points from me.
